How it works
- Unfiltered liquid
- Clear filtrate
- No unfiltered residue
- Liquid is pumped into the vessel and filters down through the stack of horizontal plates.
- Near the end of the batch, the remaining liquid settles below the main plate stack.
- A scavenger plate at the bottom, with its own outlet, filters this residual liquid.
- The whole batch is filtered, with no unfiltered hold-up left in the vessel.
