How it works
- Water phase
- Oil phase
- Smooth ointment or cream
- Transfer to holding tank
- The water phase and oil phase are heated and mixed separately in their own preparation tanks.
- Both phases are drawn under vacuum into the main jacketed mixing vessel.
- A scraper agitator and a high-shear homogeniser blend them into a smooth, stable emulsion.
- The finished batch is cooled in the jacket and transferred to a holding tank ready for filling.
