How it works
In

- Uniform blend
- Material is loaded into the horizontal U-shaped trough.
- A central shaft carries an outer and an inner ribbon, wound in opposite directions.
- As it turns, one ribbon moves material towards the ends and the other moves it back towards the centre.
- This counter-flow mixes the whole batch, which is then discharged through the bottom valve.
